What Marco residents are saying
We've lived on Marco for 15 years and have never met anyone more committed to the betterment of our community than Deb Henry. She is a tireless advocate for Marco, listens to residents, and puts Marco first!
Deb Henry has been a vital contributor of the Marco Island community since moving here full time years ago. Her involvement is a variety of community, civic and local government activities has given her a well-rounded and valuable understanding of the Marco Island community. She cares about our island as a whole and is committed to working with all parties to resolve issues and find paths forward. She understands residential concerns, business challenges and local government complexities. Deb cares. She dedicates her time, energy and heart to Marco Island and has proven she is an asset and leader in our community.
Deb Henry consistently demonstrates all the attributes Marco Island needs in a city councilor.
Since Deb Henry moved to Marco Island full-time in 2019 she has dedicated herself to serving the community. Some of the causes and organizations she has supported include St. John Newman’s High School, Our Daily Bread, Rotary, Board of Avow Hospice… Her efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian were nothing short of heroic on Isles of Capri providing lodging for multiple families, supplying appliances, drywall, clothes, household goods, toys, bicycles…..On Thanksgiving she organized and provided meals for 100 people on Isles. Deb is both an enthusiastic volunteer and a great leader. She focuses on uniting people for the better good of all. Between Deb’s successful business leadership background and her “Service Above Self” heart she would bring tremendous value to our City Council
